Install guide
Put the quote widget in your WordPress sidebar
Eight steps, about ten minutes, no theme files touched. Works on any theme with a widget area.
- 1
Copy your embed code
Open the setup builder, fill in your details and prices, and press Copy embed code.
- 2
Upload chauffeur-quote.js
In WordPress go to Media → Add New, upload chauffeur-quote.js, open it and copy the File URL. Paste that URL into the snippet where it says /chauffeur-quote.js.
- 3
Open the widget area
Go to Appearance → Widgets. Block themes without widgets: use Appearance → Editor → Patterns → Sidebar instead.
- 4
Add a Custom HTML block
Click the + inside your Sidebar area, search for Custom HTML and add it. Do not use a Paragraph or Text block — they strip the script silently.
- 5
Paste the snippet
Paste the full snippet (the <div>, the config <script> and the script tag) into the Custom HTML block.
- 6
Set the width
Sidebars are narrow. In the builder keep Display as Inline — the form stacks into one column below 420px automatically. Or choose Popup from a button to show just a button in the sidebar.
- 7
Update and check
Press Update, open any page with the sidebar, press F12 → Console and run ChauffeurQuote.selftest(). PASS means requests will reach you.
- 8
Send a test booking
Fill the form yourself and confirm the email arrives before sending real traffic.

window.chauffeurQuoteConfig = { /* from the setup builder */ };
